Green Roof Inn is a small guesthouse on the island of Carriacou in Grenada, ideal for those who want to relax away from facilities such as night clubs and casinos.

The Inn has five charming guestrooms and a waterfront restaurant and bar with a marvellous view of the Caribbean Sea.
We strive to provide personal comfort for our guests while bringing them the genuine Caribbean experience.

Instead of jostling with the crowds, you can enjoy peaceful deserted beaches, explore the many magnificent unspoiled sceneries of nearby keys or scuba dive to discover the wonders of the underwater world.

The Inn has five guestrooms which have been carefully furnished, decorated and designed to keep our guests very comfortable and well accommodated.
All rooms are equipped with a fan and mosquito net, and the showers have both hot and cold water.

  Green Roof Inn is a family-run guesthouse located on a gentle slope, a hundred feet from the sea. The Inn has an upstairs, waterfront restaurant and bar with marvelous views of the ocean. The Inn has five charming guestrooms, each one is individually designed and furnished. There are beautiful beaches with good snorkeling within walking distance.
Green Roof Inn strives to marry eco-tourism with the original and genuine Caribbean without compromising our guests' personal comfort.
The Inn is situated approximately ten minutes by foot north of Hillsborough, the largest town on the island and buses pass regularly heading north- and south-island. The airport is situated 15 minutes away by taxi, and the Osprey boat jetty is situated in the centre of Hillsborough, 5 minutes away by taxi or bus.
Green Roof Inn - Restaurant   The restaurant at Green Roof Inn is situated on the second floor verandah and offers spectacular views of the keys and the sunset. A low banister is all that separates diners from the sea, the gentle breeze and the canopy of stars and there is a constant cooling breeze. The menu at Green Roof Inn is international with a cuisine based on local fresh produce such as lobster, swordfish, barracuda and chicken and desserts such as rum-raisin parfait, lime pie and passion fruit sorbet. We serve excellent cappuccino and espresso. The full-service bar offers a selection of exotic cocktails, fresh fruit juices, wines and spirits.

The Guest House
Green Roof Inn has four double-rooms and one single-room.
The single-room and a double-room can be joined to create a suite.
All rooms have private bathrooms, apart from a double-room and the single-room that share bathroom and toilet. Except a double-room, all rooms have ocean views. All rooms features fans and mosquito nets. Extra beds are available on request.

Green Roof Inn is a small Swedish owned guesthouse on the island of Carriacou. The guesthouse opened in November 1998 and is built in traditional Caribbean style with ecological features such as central composting toilets, greywater-recycling system and solar heated hot water.

  
 

Green roof Inn is situated approximately 200 feet from the sea, close by a small beach with calm waters. Right next door is Silver beach with white sand and calm waters (Safe for children). There are excellent beaches and good snorkeling all around Carriacou, and both taxis and buses available to take one around. There are also water-taxis to nearby uninhabited islands such as Sandy Island - a sandbank with a few palm trees surrounded by a coral reef. Deck chairs, snorkel equipment, bicycles and e-mail service is available for houseguests.
