An Authentic
Island plantation built of colourful stones from a nearby river, the walls
at Plantation House are two to three feet thick.
Each stone was hauled from the river in wooden ox-drawn carts and hand
chiselled
for the perfect fit.
The pointing around the stones and all interior walls are plastered with
a mixture of molasses and white lime.
Plantation House provides guests with a glimpse of the "Spice
Isle" heritage.
